In his new work, Windows to the soul, Celis once again uses only the straight line to create his compositions, this time armed not with statistics, but with instinct.
In the years since her reunion with art, Celis' inner reflection has instilled in her a new sense of confidence in her ability to achieve her creative dreams. Celis has adopted a way of life that embodies radical acceptance; saying yes to the way life already is and not how we would like it to be. The intricate patterns and stunning delicacy of this Celis series are the achievements of a peaceful body, a peaceful mind and a peaceful soul.

As Agnes Martin, another follower of silence, observed: "The worst thing about
What you can think about when you work is yourself." Celis hopes that by sharing the fruit of his inner stillness, he can impart a certain sense of clarity in the hearts of his audience by mesmerizing them with the elegance of geometry.
Implementing a highly disciplined process of order and logic to record a moment in his mind's eye, Celis translates emotional atmospheres into something legible and precise. By spending time with Celis' drawings, we can not only gain insight into their interiority; We can also glimpse through these portals the ineffable and perhaps see something about our true nature reflected. The portal, then, is Celis' way of realizing the experience of giving and receiving.
